Founder and CEO
Sami Souid is an entrepreneur and expert in retail, licensing, manufacturing, distribution and real estate. With a business degree from NYU and more than a decade owning and operating successful organizations, Souid has generated growth and profitability as the founder and CEO of IHL Group, Gotham Assets, and Thor Microbials.
Sami began his enterprise collaborating with Verizon Wireless, obtaining the rights to exclusively operate branded brick and mortar stores throughout New York. From 2010 to 2017, Sami established 26 retail locations and produced upwards of $120 million at the peak of his lucrative partnership. Souid’s licensing firm IHL Group, specializes in apparel, loungewear, intimates and accessories for men, women and kids, owning exclusive rights to popular brands like Aeropostale, Tahari, BCBG Group, Rachel Roy, and Daisy Fuentes to name a few. In addition, Sami Leads Gotham Assets, a private real estate owner, investor, and operator, focusing on the acquisition and redevelopment of multi-million dollar commercial and residential properties across the country.
As CEO of THOR Microbials, a global manufacturer of personal care and biocides, Sami joined forces to aid in the fight against COVID-19 by becoming an innovator in the production and distribution of PPE, disinfectants, and hand sanitizers. THOR continues to distribute necessary tools to help first responders and the public stay safe while navigating the global pandemic.
Later in his career, Souid has pursued many philanthropic endeavors. He is the founder and chairman of several charitable Organizations, including Hessed (an organization focused on helping homeless find shelter , Empowered Women assists women in career building, and Safe an organization focused assisting individuals with drug addiction.
